COVID-19 (Coronavirus)

From July 4th some Church buildings in England will be reopening. However, because of the small size we are unable to reopen Oak House safely. This is because there is very strict guidance on how to ensure we do so safely which we do not feel it is possible to meet at the moment. Therefore, Oaks Leadership has decided that sadly, Oak House will remain closed. We will review this decision at the end of July.

There will still be pastoral and spiritual support offered in a variety of ways. One of these ways will be our Facebook page, so please keep an eye on it regularly. We have produced a booklet with support for engaging with the 7 Sacred Spaces while social distancing/in isolation. Please find that here.

Foodbank have changed the way that the operate during the Covid-19 crisis, therefore you are unable to come to collect parcels at Oak House on Fridays, YOUR FOOD PARCEL WILL BE DELIVERED TO YOU. Please contact Foodbank to sort that out.
You will need to get a voucher or code so please contact your Referral Agency if possible.
If you can’t do that you can contact West Lancashire Borough Council 01695 577177
or Citizens Advice 0344 245 1294 and ask about the Foodbank.

Rev. Duncan Petty and Rev. Rachel Shuttleworth.
